Forest Beach. This popular area is at the southern end of the island where you will not tire of finding fun and entertaining activities. This non-gated community features white sandy beaches, leisure trails, shopping, dining, and nightly entertainment at Coligny Plaza. Coligny Plaza offers dining, shopping and a taste of the Hilton Head Island lifestyle all in one place. You can also enjoy the miniature gold and other activities at the Waterfun Park, and tennis at the Van der Meer Tennis Center. With most activities and entertainment within walking distance, this is a great area for families.

Shipyard. This private plantation is located between Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines Plantations of Hilton Head Island. This lovely area is teeming with wildlife and beautiful leisure paths. Go fishing in one of the many lagoons, take a bike ride and enjoy the natural scenery, or just enjoy the beach! Palmetto Dunes. Set on three miles of white sandy beaches. Enjoy a variety of watersports such as wind-surfing, sailing and beach cruising. It features three championship golf courses; the George Fazio Course, ranked among America's 100 best by GOLF DIGEST; the beautiful Robert Trent Jones Course 10th hole with ocean view; and Arthur Hills Course with nature's own playing hazards. The Rod Laver Tennis Center has 25 acclaimed tennis courts. Palmetto Dunes has two full-service luxurious hotels with entertainment and dining that ranges from casual to elegant. SHELTER COVE HARBOR - with convenient bicycle paths, tour Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Marina, Hilton Head Island. There you will enjoy many specialized boutiques and excellent restaurants on the harbor that view spectacular sunsets. The marina has wonderful entertainment, like springfest, weekly fireworks in the Summer and musical fun for the kids.

Folly Field is north Hilton Head Island area has some of the most scenic and secluded beaches on Hilton Head Island. Centrally located to both on and off island shopping and attractions, this area is the perfect getaway for families and couples. With restaurants, activities, shopping and plenty of bike trails you are sure to find many exciting things to do. This area is also the closest resort area to the growing off island shopping outlets and golf courses.
