This north island area has some of the most scenic and secluded beaches on Hilton Head Island. This popular area is at the southern end of the island where you will not tire of finding fun and entertaining activities. This non-gated community features white sandy beaches, leisure trails, shopping, dining, and nightly entertainment at Coligny Plaza. Coligny Plaza offers dining, shopping and a taste of the Hilton Head lifestyle all in one place. The Rod Laver Tennis Center has 25 acclaimed tennis courts. Palmetto Dunes has two full-service luxurious hotels with entertainment and dining that ranges from casual to elegant. SHELTER COVE HARBOR - with convenient bicycle paths, tour Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Marina. This plantation, located at the southern tip of the island, is the original Hilton Head Island planned community. This private plantation is located between Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines Plantations. This lovely area is teeming with wildlife and beautiful leisure paths.
